Limited Warranty – 90 Days

ProphySlap™/VetSlap is backed by a 90 Day limited warranty from the original date of purchase. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and care. If a defect is found within the warranty period, ProphySlap™/VetSlap will, at its discretion, repair or replace the product at no cost to the customer (excluding shipping charges). Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.

This warranty does not cover:

• Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, or improper care or cleaning.

• Modifications or unauthorized repairs.

• Loss or theft of the product.

• Damage caused by chemicals not recommended for medical-grade silicone.

• Normal wear and tear (see below).

Normal Wear and Tear Policy

ProphySlap™/VetSlap is made from durable, autoclavable medical-grade silicone designed for clinical use. However, like all reusable tools, some signs of normal wear and tear may occur over time. This includes:

• Color Fading, Cracking, Tearing due to repeated sterilization or Autoclaving.

• Inserting and Removing Cups from your ProphySlap™/VetSlap.

• Minor surface marks or scuffs.

• Natural softening or flexibility changes with age and use.

These conditions are not considered defects and are not covered under warranty. For maximum longevity, please follow all care and cleaning instructions provided with your ProphySlap™/VetSlap.

Product Overview

ProphySlap™/VetSlap is a reusable, medical-grade silicone tool designed to:

• Hold prophy paste, pumice, and fluoride varnish

• Hold cords, gauze, floss, and topicals

• Improve efficiency and reduce dropped materials

• Fit comfortably on the operator’s hand

• Be fully autoclavable for infection control

Usage Instructions

1. Fitting ProphySlap™/VetSlap

• Slide ProphySlap™/VetSlap onto your non-dominant hand.

• Adjust positioning for a snug, comfortable fit.

• Use designated slots to organize and hold:

  • Prophy paste, pumice, and fluoride varnish

  • Gauze

  • Floss

  • Topicals

  • Saliva ejector tubing or handpiece cords

2. During Procedures

• Use ProphySlap™/VetSlap to quickly access commonly used materials.

• Keep cords and tools tangle-free and within easy reach.

• Maintain your usual technique while benefiting from added efficiency.

Cleaning & Sterilization

1. After Each Use

• Rinse thoroughly under warm water to remove debris.

• Use a mild soap and water or CaviWipe if needed.

• A Gentle Twist motion to Remove Disposable Cups (remove GENTLY)

2. Disinfection

• ProphySlap™/VetSlap is made of autoclavable, medical-grade silicone.

• Place in an autoclave pouch and follow your standard sterilization cycle (up to 273°F / 134°C).

3. Do Not Use

• Harsh chemicals (e.g., bleach, alcohol-based disinfectants)

• Abrasive sponges or steel wool

• Open flames or dry heat sterilizers

Storage

• Store flat in a clean, dry area.

• Avoid folding or compressing the silicone to maintain shape.

• Keep away from direct sunlight or extreme heat.
